“thru the night” is talking about boredom and uncomfortable feeling that happened in the night. No matter what to do to make the feeling better such as listening to your favorite songs could not help. Because the reason is just want to be with the lover and to spend time together in the night. In the musical part, Soft Pine filled the rhythm part with the elements from Hip Hop and R&B music. So this song could feel a little bit different from before. In the guitar part, chord and solo has been filled with some wobbly and jazzy sounds to shape the feeling and atmosphere in the song.
